About Ippoh

The moment of tasting the signature dishes at Ippoh reveals a dedication to traditional Japanese flavors interwoven with subtle contemporary touches. Guests might find themselves intrigued by the delicate precision behind each plate, where sushi slices present a freshness that pairs well with an unassuming yet thoughtful presentation. The ambiance leans toward cozy minimalism, allowing the culinary creations to speak without distraction, though at times the space can feel reserved rather than lively. Those exploring Ippoh photos online will notice the restrained elegance mirrored in the plating and decor, confirming that the experience here revolves much around a quiet appreciation of detail.

Reviews of the Ippoh restaurant frequently highlight its attentive service, which strikes a balance between professionalism and unobtrusiveness. The staff’s knowledge of the menu helps diners navigate less familiar options, contributing to a more confident selection. However, the menu’s compact nature may offer fewer adventurous choices for those seeking exotic or fusion elements; this focus is more about authenticity and quality than variety. Pricing reflects the craftsmanship involved, with portions sized in accordance with a refined dining experience rather than casual abundance, making the outing feel more curated than hurried.

Arriving at Zollamtstraße 10-18 in Kaiserslautern, it becomes apparent that this establishment caters to those who value subtlety over spectacle. The interplay between flavors and textures illustrates an earnest approach to Japanese cuisine that resonates with many, yet the subdued setting might not satisfy diners craving a bustling atmosphere. It also appears that local enthusiasts and tourists alike contribute to the Ippoh reviews, suggesting a steady appreciation though not overwhelmingly broad popularity. Overall, it is a place where the quiet moments between bites enrich the enjoyment, revealed slowly through the menu's thoughtful progression.

This place was amazing. This is the best place for sushi within an hour and a half of Kaiserslautern. It is a standard price for all you can eat and that includes one non-alcoholic drink. Additional specialty items and drinks may be ordered and purchased separately. The all you can eat works by ordering small dishes from a tablet in rounds. There are a maximum number of dishes you can order in each round (I think three) and rounds have a ten minute cool- down. Some dishes have a limit per person (the sashimi is limited to one sashimi dish per person), but most dishes have no limit. When you are finished you select on the tablet that you wish for the bill and then they bring it to you to pay. They also have a lunch option that is a little cheaper. The food was very fresh and very good.

1st time we were there last night and it was delicious. Was looking for a sushi restaurant with tablet for a bit and this was recommended. Service was great, Food was really good, only thing we missed was maybe some more veggie sushi options (like with just cucumber, pumpkin or bell peppers would be amazing), we will be back for sure!

Their ramen is Korean style ramen and not Japanese style ramen, the noodles are a quick noodle over the regular ramen noodle, but the broth is still a rich broth. The rest of the dishes and flavors were pretty good too. Always worth trying a new food place.

This all-you-can-eat sushi buffet is a great deal. It included a free drink and ice cream for dessert. You order from a tablet so it is easy to do in German or English. You can order 6 items every 10 minutes for each person in your party. It is an ideal way to keep people from ordering too much at once. We did not feel it limited us in any way. Service was very fast, even as they got more crowded. I would highly recommend this place.

Ippoh Sushi is an outstanding dining experience. I have been here with groups up to 8 and here as a regular with my wife. The quality of the fish is exceptional—fresh, beautifully sliced, and paired expertly with their own uniqueflavors (Philadelphia Cream Roll is one of our favorits). The setting and gracious service elevate the experience, making you feel like a welcomed guest. For anyone seeking an authentic and all you can eat sushi experience, Ippoh Sushi is an absolute must-visit. A true gem for sushi aficionados.

This was quite the 'all you can eat' restaurant. You get a tablet to place your orders and can order six dishes every 10 minutes (at least that's how it worked eating on my own). They have a good variety of sushi, rice dishes, Chinese style dishes, and sashimi. The overall quality of the dishes was very good. Some of them were a little too salty or had way too much sauce, but others were a delight to eat. The fried duck, zucchini, and nigiris were great, while the mayo shrimp and tempura were a little too salty. Overall, this is a good place to enjoy a variety of dishes for a decent price (28.90 Euro for dinner, drinks not included). I can see myself eating here again in the future.
